Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA
7Info
Reduce the looks of spots and hyper-pigmentation with The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA. Alpha Arbutin is used at a high 2% concentration versus a standard concentration of 1% and supported with a next-generation form of Hyaluronic Acid for enhanced delivery. It is much stronger in effect than Arbutin or Beta Arbutin.
Note: Alpha Arbutin is extremely sensitive to degradation in the presence of water if the pH of the formulation is not ideal. The pH of this formula is approximately 4.9 which is shown to be the most suitable pH to minimize degradation of Alpha Arbutin.
Volume: 30ml
Review(s) on The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA:
"Great product and a well-deserved review. I had spent 3 years avoiding sunlight-hard core- and sunscreen to fade pigmentation- and it was better- but I still used foundation to cover and was really feeling hopeless and self-conscious bc it rubbed off or for my SO to see me without makeup. After research and treatments I could NOT afford, I tried the regimen for hyperpigmentatiom. I have been blown away! I no longer need to use foundation. Thus regimen has faded most of the pigmentation, my pores barely show and I have a soft glow I didn't have before. I can't believe how well it has worked and I feel comfortable showing my face again. Thank you Deciem for great products and for great integrity in an industry that seems to be pretty darn greedy. Thank you so much!!💗" - KC (from theordinary.com)

this is my 2nd bottle

Great product
This is my second time using it and I’m glad that it’s helping with the dark spots!

Works Wonders! ❤️
A staple in my skin care routine. It really works for hyperpigmentation and scarring without causing any adverse reactions. Even works well with BHA and AHA (especially AHA), so it’s easy to incorporate in the routine. No fuss and very effective! If you’re looking for one effective TO serum, this should be it!

I noticed my dark spots lightened!

I'm using this to lighten my melasma, pih and pie
I'm using this to lighten my freckles, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and post-inflammatory erythema (2 kinds of acne marks). I've been layering it with TO's niacinamide serum (I checked the compatibility, it's safe and they don't cancel each other out), making sure that each serum is completely absorbed before adding the other layer. They absorb well, although my face becomes a bit sticky and shiny so quarantine is the perfect time to do this. RESULTS - it's still too early to tell for my freckles (melasma is notoriously stubborn) but I've been seeing very good results with my acne marks 2 weeks in. They're definitely not as noticeable as before. I don't know if its one or the other but these 2 serums seem to work. My face also feels more hydrated - when I wash my face it feels like its more plump and not dried out after
