What it does:
Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is an ultra-nourishing blend of soothing and protective ingredients. Rich in Guaiazulene (an extract from chamomile oil), this cream is serious in quelling skin inflammation, minimizing redness and diminishing discomfort.
With an easily absorbable and non-greasy formula, Shea butter replenishes lost moisture and restores skin’s equilibrium. Enhanced further by Centella Asiatica extract, it fortifies the skin’s lipid barrier to keep the ‘good stuff’ in while providing protection from the everyday environmental onslaught for a younger, long-lasting glow. Blue in color and lightweight in texture, this skin-savior formula is a fail-safe treatment for those with temperamental complexions.
How to use:
- After cleansing, toning and using treatment products, dispense the cream into the palm of the hand.
- Smooth or pat over the skin, until fully absorbed.
- Follow with sunscreen during the day or use it as your last skincare step at night.

PhilippinesI am a huge fan of this product, along with the Dear Klairs Unscented Supple Preparation Toner. While the price may seem steep compared to other products, it is well worth it. It does everything it claims and I just cannot live without it. You can use it as a spot treatment but I use it as a moisturizer all over my face after applying my serum/ampoule.
Philippines PhilippinesMy skin this ECQ has been quite angry at me. I'm breaking out from the mask and bumps and pustules has erupted on my skin after an allergic reaction. No matter what I used, it just keeps on getting redder, irritated and painful. Thank God for this calming cream. I now kept my skincare more simple (cleanse, tone & calming cream) and this cream definitely calmed my skin.
PhilippinesThis is supposed to be a spot treatment, but it is a good moisturizer as well. It provides occlusion and hydration, and this is good because I am a practical skincare junkie who is not attracted to hydrating toner even though I have dry skin. The Blue Calming Cream actually works well alone for me. In terms of redness, its effects are far from stellar. This moisturizer is really good, but is it one of the best? Maybe. It's just a plain old moisturizer (which is good) with the addition of color, antioxidants, peptides, etc., but for the price? It's not really worth it. I can find other moisturizers which are hydrating and occlusive, and for a much cheaper price. I still recommend it though, because it's not bad, to be honest.
